Internship Overview

The Customer Relations team is responsible for ensuring the satisfaction of our customers and supporting our Sales and Production Departments. There’s no coffee fetching in this internship. You’ll learn best practices, business communication skills and have the opportunity to work directly with our clients and staff in our fast-paced environment.


Client Relations Associate

Our Client Relations Associates are our front-line. You will build relationships with our customers and staff and will be responsible for ensuring that their experience with the AroundCampus Group is positive and impactful. Your ability to see the big picture, act quickly, and communicate effectively both in person and over the phone will help your team reach its goals. As a Client Relations Associate, you will also work directly with our Production Department, customers, and sales representatives to ensure a high quality product that campus communities love. This position requires candidates to be driven, articulate, and enthusiastic.

Sales Support Associate

Our Sales Support Associates provide support to the sales department from our home office in RTP. As a Sales Support Associate, you will build relationships with sales reps across the country and will be responsible for ensuring that their experience with the AroundCampus Group is positive and impactful. As a Sales Support Associate, you will also work directly with our Customer Relations Department to guarantee the sales process runs smoothly for the entire company. This position requires candidates to be charismatic, articulate, and enthusiastic.

Digital Support Associate

As a Digital Support Associate, you not only will gain valuable experience, but will also have the rare opportunity to be at the ground floor of a tech startup and help thousands of restaurant and bar merchants nationwide as UConnection grows to serve students in 42 states. UConnection helps local businesses market directly to students’ phones through easy-to-scroll listings, exclusive deals, and push notifications.

Technical Support Specialist

The Business Software Technical Support Specialist plays a crucial role in the summer publishing workflow. Working directly with the NetSuite Administrator, the Technical Support Specialist will learn best practices of NetSuite – one of the most in-demand CRM (Customer Relations Management)/ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems available today. The Specialist will learn how the NetSuite system supports our business and workflow, then take initiative in developing improvements by streamlining existing processes. The Specialist will build skills in business communication, data analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting while working both independently and with a team. This position requires candidates to be enthusiastic learners and excellent problem solvers. This position is part-time, 30 hours a week, Monday - Friday.
