Adobe, the global leader in digital marketing and media solutions, approached The AroundCampus Group to raise awareness about student pricing of Adobe Creative Suite

THE AROUNDCAMPUS APPROACH

AroundCampus launched “Adobe Days” on 14 campuses across the United States, focusing on the busy back-to-school time frame and targeting students, faculty, and staff. Our campus marketing experts assembled and trained a team of energetic Brand Ambassadors to oversee marketing events featuring trial Creative Suite DVDs, student registration forms, and fun prize giveaways. Ambassadors also met with faculty and staff to introduce discounted student pricing. AroundCampus helped to make every day an Adobe day!

THE RESULTS

Ambassador teams over-delivered on objectives by more than 230%! Valuable relationships were forged with bookstore and computer store personnel, providing new and on-going support for Adobe within retail outlets. All teams ran a registration contest for Creative Suite and compiled a valuable database with hundreds of campus consumers interested in Adobe products. Adobe used this database to market directly to end users even after the campaign came to a close.

H&R Block campus marketing case study

 

THE ASSIGNMENT

H&R Block, the world’s largest tax services provider, called upon The AroundCampus Group’s collegiate marketing expertise to increase brand awareness and introduce students to their tax services.

THE AROUNDCAMPUS APPROACH

AroundCampus successfully hired, trained, and managed 18 Brand Ambassadors on 7 campuses to execute more than 200 promotional events and activities, including tabling for peer-to-peer engagement, “Tax Talks” to campus organizations, flyering apartments and dorms, chalking, and classroom presentations.  Ambassadors also distributed H&R Block-branded swag such as scarves, water bottles, and t-shirts to students on and off campus. Additionally, they encouraged students to text in to receive information about H&R Block’s free federal filing and discounted state filing services as well as to be entered into a sweepstakes rewarding over $15,000 in prize money.

THE RESULTS

Our intensive and multi-pronged, 12-week campaigns created lasting impressions on college campuses. Nearly 2,000 students texted in to enter the sweepstakes, and more than 1,100 students and faculty members across the 7 campuses filed their taxes with H&R Block as a result of the AroundCampus campaign.

The Body Shop case study

THE ASSIGNMENT

The Body Shop, an international leader in natural cosmetics, contacted the AroundCampus Group to increase awareness and usage of their products.

THE AROUNDCAMPUS APPROACH

Around Campus gathered a team of 10 passionate and knowledgeable Brand Ambassadors to distribute product samples over a 12-week period to 5 college campuses.  Ambassadors employed an integrated marketing strategy: distributing samples, collecting signatures for the Body Shop’s “Stop Sex Trafficking” campaign, and driving traffic to the Body Shop Facebook page.  Samples were mainly distributed at dorm parties and small get-togethers where students could try out and discuss the brand in an intimate setting. Ambassadors also sought out pre-existing campus events like fashion shows, block parties, and Greek chapter meetings to expand their promotional reach.

THE RESULTS

Our talented Ambassadors helped to produce thousands of memorable impressions across the 5 campuses.  They successfully distributed 11,700 samples, captured over 2,000 signatures for “Stop Sex Trafficking”, and added hundreds of fans to The Body Shop Facebook page.
